Ingredients

750 g ground lamb
1 small red onion ( finely diced )
2 garlic cloves ( finely chopped or garlic press )
6 dried apricots ( finely chopped )
8 dried dates ( finely chopped )
1/3 cup fresh breadcrumb
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon fresh coriander ( finely chopped )
2 tablespoons sumac ( Somaq )
1 -2 teaspoon ras el hanout spice mix
1 egg ( whisked )
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds ( optional )
Lamb and Sumac Koftas are a popular dish in Middle Eastern cuisine. Instructions

1.Preheat grill to high temperature.

3.Add whisked egg to the bowl and mix until well combined.

7.Remove the koftas from the grill and rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
