1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1 small habanero peppers or 2 medium jalapeno chilies , seeded , chopped
1 garlic clove , peeled
1/2 cup packed golden brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground allspice
2 lbs ground beef
6 hamburger buns with sesame seeds , toasted
1 onion , thinly sliced
3 tomatoes , sliced
6 romaine lettuce leaves

Instructions

1.In a food processor, add mayonnaise, orange juice, chipotle, green onions, thyme, habanero peppers, and garlic. Pulse until blended but still chunky.
2.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, oil, soy sauce, and allspice. Mix in the ground beef and form into 6 patties.
3.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
4.Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Spread orange-chipotle mayonnaise on the buns. Place the patties on the buns and top with sliced onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Serve and enjoy!
